The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Election Commission of India (ECI) to examine Samajwadi Party candidate from Varanasi Tej Bahadur Yadav's plea regarding the rejection of his nomination and revert by Thursday with an explanation and reasons for dismissing his candidature in the Lok Sabha election 2019.
