फेडरर को हराने वाले सिसिपास को 'ट्विटर' ने बताया टेनिस का भविष्य

20 बार के ग्रैंड स्लैम विजेता रोजर फेडरर का लगातार तीसरी बार ऑस्ट्रेलियन ओपन खिताब सपना रविवार को मेलबर्न के रॉड लेवर एरीना में ध्वस्त हो गया. दुनिया के तीसरे नंबर के खिलाड़ी फेडरर को 20 साल के स्टेफनास सिसिपास ने  6-7,7-6,7-5,7-6 से मात देकर टूर्नामेंट से बाहर का रास्ता दिखा दिया. नेक्स्टजेन फाइनल्स के चैंपियन स्टेफनास सिसिपास ने अपने से 17 साल सीनियर फेडरर को हराकर सनसनी फैला दी. इस टूर्नामेंट से पहले ग्रीस में पैदा हुए और फिलहाल साइप्रस में रहने वाले सिसिपास फिलहाल ने विंबलडन में भी प्रीक्वार्टर फाइनल में जगह बनाई थी हालांकि वह इससे पहले किसी ग्रैंड स्लैंम के क्वार्टर फाइनल में नहीं पहुंचे थे. सिसिपास का जन्म उसी साल हुआ था जब फेडरर ने पेशेवर टेनिस में पदार्पण किया था. फेडरर को यहां अंतिम बार 2016 में हार का सामना करना पड़ा था जब नोवाक जोकोविच ने उन्हें सेमीफाइनल में मात दी थी.
