Parliament Updates: The Lok Sabha passed the Dam Safety Bill and Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill, 2019. BJD's MP Bhartruhari Mahtab said, "There is apprehension that the Union government may take over the control of the dam... Through this bill, you (Centre) are acquiring the power. It is not the top-down function that will work."
