But when expectations are sky high, the fall is equally steep. Their primary grouse is that they never saw Rahul Gandhi after 2014, the year he adopted them. Meanwhile, residents of two more villages in the constituency are boycotting polls over basic issues such as improved road, or a manned and gated railway crossing.
